Vehicle Description The Austin-Healey 100 arose from a simple maxim:
go 100 mph and look good doing it! ESCC is proud to bring this ultra fine example to our clients, but first let's provide a little history of this English classic.
The Austin-Healey 100-6 is a two-seat roadster produced from 1956 until 1959.
The 100-6 fell between Austin-Healey 100, and the Austin-Healey 3000; together, the three models have become known as the Big Healeys.
The 100-6 featured a longer wheelbase than the 100, a more powerful straight-six engine in place of its slightly larger inline-four, and added two occasional seats (which later became optional).
The body lines were slightly streamlined, a smaller, wider radiator grille placed lower, an air scoop was added to the bonnet, and the windscreen fixed.
The 100-6 was produced in two versions, the 2+2 BN4 from1956 onwards and the 2-seat BN6 in 1958-9.
The cars used a tuned version of the BMC C-Series engine, initially producing 102 bhp (76 kW) and increased in 1957 to 117 bhp (87 kW) by fitting a revised manifold and cylinder head.

A 117 bhp (87 kW) BN6 was tested by The Motor magazine in 1959 had a top speed of 103.

A Florida car until recently, this pristine specimen has been recently restored to very near Concourse condition.
A few very minor blemishes in the paint stop it from reaching that ultimate level.

The dash is pristine, and gauges are fully functioning.
The banjo steering wheel is believed to be original The bright work shows no evidence pitting and simply gleams.
The engine compartment is immaculate and shows off the famous straight six and dual carburetors.
An optional 4 speed plus overdrive enhances the driving experience.
The convertible top is brand new.
The current owner never raised it because the car was only taken out on a sunny day.
As the adage states, Healy's are not meant to be driven with the top up! The undercarriage is in keeping with the rest of the vehicle.
New bushings are evident, and the Old English White paint is carried throughout, including wheel wells.
The new tires complement wire wheels which are in excellent condition.
A stainless-steel exhaust and new brakes round out the package.
Additional complimentary items include a tonneau cover in new condition as well as a lead hammer for removing the spin off hubs.
A rare 1957 original service manual is included as well as maintenance records.
