GRADE ASTD13 LOCATION OF POSITION Talbot County Department of Social Services Child Support Unit 301 Bay Street, Unit 5 Easton, MD 21601 POSITION DUTIES The main purpose of this position is to administer the Young Father's and Non-Custodial Parent Employment Program for Talbot County Dept.
of Social Services as it relates to Child Support Administration.
This position will coordinate the recruitment, program development and implementation and resource development of these programs.
The goal is to enable the participants to be responsible with their children and families and to gain employment to enable them to support their families by paying their Child Support obligations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire.

Experience:
Five years of experience, one year of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.
Notes:
1.
Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.
2.
Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours for the required experience.
3.
Candidates may substitute U.
S.
Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s).

One year of Child Support Case Management experience.
One year of Family Investment Case Management experience.
One year of experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorder, behavioral health and/or history of incarceration.
One year of experience building and maintaining relationships with community resource providers, local businesses, and employers.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
