Job Description JOB
Summary:
Receives, checks in, and stores food and non-food deliveries.
Sanitizes refrigerated boxes, freezers and storage rooms.
Assists with inventory control.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Cleans shelves, walls and floors of refrigerated and storage rooms.
Cleans and sanitizes kitchen floor.
Disposes of crates, boxes and packaging from delivered goods.
Checks deliveries for accuracy, damaged products ad shortages.
Stores items in FIFO (First in/First Out) method; dates perishable products and stores before dry goods.
Fills daily requisitions for supplies.
Assists with inventory count.
Complies with regulatory requirements; maintains established department policies and procedures, including those pertaining to infection control, quality assurance and safety.
Strives to achieve excellence of service as described in the CARE Commitments.
Responds to Shore Regional Health codes as appropriate.
Responsible for honest behavior in all matters.
To the best of the employee's knowledge and understanding, complies with all Federal and State laws and regulations.
Maintains the privacy and security of all confidential and protected health information.
Uses and discloses only that information which is necessary to perform the function of the job.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Minimum of six months of experience in food service, warehouse/storeroom, housekeeping, or related experience/equivalent training preferred.
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
Exposed to heat, wetness, noise, fumes, solutions, dirt, and other similar elements.
Subject to cuts, burns, etc.
Heavy lifting.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
